Thanks for the proposal.

I had a review of the library and of its diff. Upgrades seems minimal and fixes the issues that plaggues spark-core.

I support this change.

Is it as easy as bumping the dependency?

PS:

(Pro-tip: in order not to mess up formatting on Mailing lists it is common practice to send plain text only versions of the email. This can for example be achieved in Thunderbird: Options > Sending format > Only Plain Text)
