Noel, I took another deep look at the spool manager and still I could not fully understand what the information told me. However, I took to heart what you wrote in your last e-mail and realized that it was not my matcher that was the trouble, but the mailet. I switched the state of the Mail object to "ghost" and it solved my worries.
