Is there a way to insure that the domain specified from MAIL FROM tag maps to the senders IP? Personaly, I only care to get mail from a mail provider. I don't have any friends using there own mail servers, and any mail from them would come from a mail provider like hotmail or yahoo. So I only need worry about registered (with domains that map to them) IP addresses. And I don't want to except mail from other domain relays, since in almost every case that would just be spam anyway.
Another spam prevention. I found the way to require the local users to be authenticated before sending outside mail, but what about local mail? I want to lock this down to prevent spamers from connecting to my host, and using phoney or un-authinticated local users to send spam to my local users. That is one of my bigest complaints about mail providers like hotmail. They don't protect there users from obviously spam emails forged with there own domains. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
