I've developped my own api to manage all incoming and outcoming emails.
The mail goes into one of my filters and modify essentially the recipients... based on the following :
I've created a structure like that : account is domain.accountname and give you the email [EMAIL PROTECTED] domain2 can be domain ... so it is also ok for [EMAIL PROTECTED]
then
I modify this to handle aliases and mailing lists...
their name can be a regular expression ...
then an alias is considered as a group
and in a group, you can have group or accounts OR NNTP newsgroups OR external email address.
At the end of my filters, the correct reciptients are added...
With a correct rule, the mail server can store all emails from my employees to customers in NNTP newsgroups, so that I can keep a full eye on every dialog between my customers and my employees without being in CC: every time... and we keep like that a good emails database...
I would like know to associate a webserver to my mail server in order to control it with correct scripts...
My API is of course a kind of mailet in Java... and all rules are kept in memory.. so I would like to developp something to talk to this API....
What can I do ?
Add a webserver to phoenix ? to be able to dialog with my classes ?? (the best would be to access to them using web services so that I can access from .NET too)
I would like in fact my employees can change their password in the intranet and it changes it on the web server...
well, I hope you understood what I am explaining... maybe you've got your own ideas and critics, please tell me them...
