Hi

For a few months I need to run two home/offices, with everyone migrating
periodically between the two. I have JAMES set up in the main office, it
uses fetchPOP (because I have been too lazy to switch to fetchmail) to
get all the mail for our domain from an ISP and distribute it among the
users. I want to set another installation in the secondary office. I
could just turn off mail collection in one and turn it on in the other
but that would leave all the archives split between two places and a
problem with reconciling them when we return to normal. I would like to
leave the mail collection in the main office going to maintain the
archive, but simultaneously collect from the other for normal use. For
security reasons I do not want to enable mail collection through the
firewall from outside at either place. If I use fetchmail there is a
"leaveOnServer" parameter so that the mail can be collected from both
places, but it is a Boolean which means that mail will just build up at
the ISP until I explicitly delete it all. What I would like is a "leave
on server for a number of days" parameter, as is available on many mail
clients, so that both sites can collect but mail will not build up. Is
there any way of doing this with James, or does anyone have any other
suggestions?

Regards

Mike
