Hi Norman,
I added the bindAddress to in the JAMES Block, but it didn't do anything.
But I actually found the solution in the Documentation, I just kooked at
the wrong Place before.
You can add a <bind> Tag to the RemoteDelivery Mailet an then it works
like it should.
Maybe you should add a note in the SMTP Config Docu . That the Bind
there is only for Incoming SMTP and that Outgoing SMTP has to be
configured in the Remote Delivery Mailet, because this is kind of
counterintuitive.
Thanks for the prompt Help,
Simon

Hi simon,
i must corrent me.. After looking at the source code it must be possible
to bind it to a specific ipaddress by using:
<bindAddress> xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx </bindAddress>

Hi,
I have following problem:
My Mail Server hast 2 IP Adresses:
IP Address 1: The IP Address of the Machine there are now DNS
registered Hostnames for this IP
IP Address 2: The Mailserver IP Address (that is moved when the
Mailserver is moved to a bachup machine etc.)
All services (POP, SMTP, Remotemanager) are bound to IP Address 2.
Which works fine.
I think since moving to 2.3.0 (not sure but i think i have the problem
since then) When sending out outgoing Mail the Server iudentifies
itself with IP Address 1 (there is a HELO from unknown (IP Address 1)
in the Mail I send out.
Since this Address is not resolevabel some spam aware Target
Mailserver refuse to connect.
How can I configure James to use ONLY IP Address 2.
Thanks a Lot
Simon
