Thanks Norman for your quick answer!

I'm talking about fetchmail, and it's configured to get mail from an IPS. In
ISP's server mail is got from a single account, something looking like
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
James should get mail and then route it to local mailboxes according to the
users listed in "To:" line ([EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED],
[EMAIL PROTECTED], ...). After that each user (user1, user2, ...) gets its
own mail using outlook express (talking to james using pop3).

To explain even more, the problem is: if user3 is not defined, neither user1
nor user2 nor any other valid user in "To:" list is able to get its mail.
Their folders in file system remains empty. The message is only routed to
[EMAIL PROTECTED] (the user I defined as being postmaster)

Thanks for your hints,
davide
