JAMES Version: 2.3.1 Phone: Moto Q SMTP SSL port: 465 POP SSL port: 995 SMTP port: 25 POP port: 110
Hi all, Having some difficulty getting SMTP with TLS/SSL working for a Moto Q phone. POP and SMTP without SSL work fine, as well as POP with SSL. Authentication is required for both POP and SMTP (using our own custom modules). Also, more importantly, it also works with Outlook Express from outside our network. On the phone, there is no place to specify what port the outgoing SMTP server should be using. It only provides a checkbox for "Use SSL with this connection." My question is how do I get JAMES to support TLS/SSL with these types of devices? I have tried to get SSL working over port 25 with no success. Thanks, Matt -- View this message in context: http://www.nabble.com/SMTPS-and-mobile-phones-tf3880786.html#a10998588 Sent from the James - Users mailing list archive at Nabble.com. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
