Well first of all are you sure your MX-record is correct ?
check if you got the right entry for your domain like:

# dig @dns.heagmobilo.de yourdomain MX

If this is all correct try to connect to port 25 from outside your
network. Maybe the port is blocked... 

It whould help if you can provide us the "bounce" you got when trieng to
send from gmail...
