well, that's not the reason i think.... after refilling the database
with ham & spam it didn't work either

In my case, bayesian spam analysis refused it's duty when the ham /
spam tables heavily differed in size, eg. the spam table had more
then 10k entries an the ham table only 2k
I'm not sure about that, but in my case the spam filter restarted
work when the ham table was feeded with mails.
