Hi all JAMES Server users, I'd like to know if anyone here is still using Java 2 1.4 to run JAMES so to understand what kind of impact would have dropping support for that JVM and require Java 5 in the next release.
There are no current plan for a release but we have some feature requiring java5 and if we don't drop java 1.4 support we'll have to take care of twice the release products and the conditional builds and so on adding even more delay to a next release. So, if anyone is using James in java 2 1.4 and have reasons to not upgrade to java5 please speak and explain your case now!
