I am very new to managing the James mail server after recently being assigned to manage and maintain our installation. Because of that, I will likely have a lot of very simple questions.
My first question has to do with finding out how to remove messages from the queue. Is it possible to remove a specific message that is currently in the queue? For example, given a specific mail ID, can I tell James to delete it from the queue? Or even cause it to bounce immediately instead of waiting until the max retries are reached? Here is the situation: We often get messages into the queue that will eventually fail. For example, a message that has a TO address of [email protected] (obvious mis-spelling of gmail.com). I see messages in the log about it trying to deliver it and wondered if I could manually remove that message from the queue. Thanks for the help, Todd Wallentine
