I confirmed that the "RETR" command now retrieves the whole message, thank you.

However, James now suppresses or strips the empty line between the message 
headers and body.

This is not a problem during a telnet session because you are able to read the 
whole message.

But this is a problem when a message is fetched with a MUA because the visible 
body of the message doesn't start until after the first empty line of the body.

What makes this even more puzzling is that if you examine the message in James' 
inbox for the user, the empty line is there.
