James 3 release date is not yet fixed.
We will cut a first milestone (3M1).
(I hope the final 3.0 will be before end 2010).
When would you need it ?
In the mean time, you can download nightly builds form
http://people.apache.org/builds/james/nightly/bin/james-server-spring-deployment-3.0-M1.zip
The build is pretty stable and contains the end-user functions that will
be released.
Internal repackaging may happen before release.
