I have tried two addresses.
The other is my hotmail account. This too is failing.

The remote server is replying with an error code 554 when james try to
deliver the message, so this is not about james.
Probably the remove mailserver for "intersoftsolutions.co.uk" domain
does not like your IP or your sender address.
Try to send to another domain and see if you are able to deliver.
