This has probably been solved by someone, I would like to run james as a service on startup and was hoping someone here has already set that up and be able to give me some pointers and avoid any pitfalls. To be more specific I would like to know what is the difference between *run.sh* and *james start* and what would work better. Using *ps aux | grep james* shows me that *james start* loads quite a few more libraries that *run.sh*.
Furthermore a quick test running *run.sh* as a command starts james correctly and pop clients can connect without any issues, yet pop clients can't get authenticated when running james as a service by creating/using a james.service/systemctl. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks VP This email and any attachments may contain confidential and privileged information.
