One thing to note is that the Actional investors opted for PRGS stock rather than all cash.  This is because they wanted to participate in the potential upside that this could bring to them. I suspect the investors in Actional are less than thrilled, though. Purchase price: $32 M; investment to date: $85 M. (That does not include the sale of the Actional adapters to iWay in 2003 -- financials were not disclosed, but I doubt that that sale made a significant dent in the loss.) Anne YAHOO!
