Hi Gervas --

Looks interesting! Of course, it's quite an old quote of mine, from 2003 or 2004 I think, but we have seen more movement on the OWL / RDF front. Not quite the Tim Berners-Lee vision, but a stepping stone to making semantics a reality.

How relevant is it to SOA?  Well, Ronald is quoted, so it must be!
Seriously, whereas the emphasis of SOA has been largely at enterprise intranet level to date, I think we are going to see more evidence of it in an inter-company context at one end of the scale, and within smaller SME application sets at the other.
