SOAP is an interface technology. HTTP defines something I would say
has an architecture in that it describes an arrangement of things
along with rules and guidelines for using them.

Mike's note was saying developers like shortcuts without
thinking much. Unless we did not read the same note.
But then people tend to see what they're looking for.
