If that is my belief then even *I* don't agree with me. I could solve
all the integration problems I've encountered with far older
technology than that if I had to.

I don't think HTTP is a silver bullet, but I think it has more to
offer than the SOAP/WSDL stuff. I think the SOAP/WSDL bandwagon is
preventing people from considering the wider benefits of HTTP. But
that appears to be slowly changin for the better.
