And the RIGs at http://sdec.reach.ie/
I would read these three sources long before taking on anything in the
WS-* space. Whatever you think about any of these specific systems in
their details, they will provide an invaluable foundation for trying
to evaluate what WS-* is trying to be when it grows up.
