  Subject: [service-orientated-architecture] Speckled Computing & Nano-SOA

It is not often that something genuinely revolutionary happens in
computing, or in any other field come to that. This is why the news
coming out of my native patch (the Land of the Timid & Sober) is so
  startling:

From to time to time I bang on about the downscaling possibilities
inherent in the concept of SOA. By concept, I am deliberately
divorcing SOA from its current implementation technologies. Will
eventually a sort of Nano-SOA evolve to provide a software
architectural paradigm for Speckled Computing (perhaps given the Scots
tendency to have freckled complexions, especially in childhood, they
should have called it Freckled Computing)?
