Here you go:

"Building Composite Applications" SG24-7367-00.
It is very good.

Another redbook, titled "Patterns: SOA Foundation -
Business Process Management Scenario" SG24-7234-00

Also search IBM developers work, it provides very good
tutorials for different levels of experience so you
can gain the benefits of both theory and practical
implementation.

The for dummies also addressed the subject well.

If you are interested in doing SOA with java here
another good book too:
1. "Building web services with java" by Steve Graham
et al. (chapter 12 addresses the orchestration of web
services)

Oracle, provides a very good material about BEPL:
http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/ias/bpel/htdocs/dev_support.html

BEA: provides the same:
http://www.bea.com/framework.jsp?CNT=index.htm&FP=/content/products/aqualogic/albpm/

MS, and HP provide an extensive materials about the
subject that it deserve to investigate too in your
