Correct. This Group is a Benign One-Man Autocracy, not a Democracy :) > > Unfortunately, I received an email from a member saying that he > thought we were moving off the topic. He was communicating as a private individual with no Official Status as far as this Group is concerned. You of course are equally at liberty to communicate back to him as a private individual, even to the extent of offering him a two-word sex-and-travel suggestion if you judge it apposite. > Nevertheless, I just wanted to bring this to an open so we can > continue having an open discussion as we have always been having. :) Thank you, Ozawa-san. I try and moderate this Group with a light touch. I do waste a lot of time deleting totally irrelevant messages. Some are curiously charming such as the ones with pictures of modern (building) architecture or a recent offer to sell you Indonesian tea. The most annoying are the constant stream of job offers from mostly Indian recruitment firms(time to organise a few revenge denial-of-service attacks??). As far as subject matter goes, I still think we should keep the central focus on SOA in an ICT context. By all means bring in the business aspects of SOA as this is totally relevant to the purpose adn raison d'ĂȘtre of what used to be called Data Processing. No doubt a pure business SOA structure could be devised, but I think if this is done it should still have a few processors humming in the background which are part of the operation.
