As someone whose been following REST for a while it bothers me slightly that so much effort is spent on this sort of discussion.
It seems rather sad that their is so little good content out there about REST, beyond simple CRUD scenraios, but yet there is massive quantities of posts/threads like this. Not saying this sort of thing might not be entertaining but it certainly isn't going to sell REST to anyone outside the community nor will it help anyone use REST properly. To me REST is now hot stuff and there are people out there who want to use it as intended, and perhaps with that in mind time might be better spent giving people proper practical advice on building RESTful enterprise systems. - Colin
