In an architecture picture, how is the interaction between consumer and producer depicted? Is it described in any fashion? Is it constrained by any principles or guidelines?
Is it simply shown without comment, along the lines of "a miracle occurs here" and left as an exercise for the implementor? The interface through which consumer and provider interact is fundamentally an integration description, IMO.
