It's not hard to get. But MAN is it hard to do.

That's why I find these SOA discussions so tedious. They waste huge
amounts of resources debating what SOA is instead of putting those
resources to work discussing HOW TO DO IT. That's why I find
REST-Discuss so much more worthwhile. It may be too focused on
technical minutia sometimes, but at least its almost always focused on
how to enable sharability, moduluarity, and loose coupling.
