Well, with Steve you can rely on a good dose of reality and truth, even in humour. And to be honest, I understand where he's coming from. I am myself terribly frustrated with the tooling for REST, for example, which for enterprise development pretty much is a must but sadly lacking. It becomes a bit too much special coding to do complex things, and apart from Restlet (which is actually pretty darn good) there isn't much that covers the big-wig markets for more complex situations.
