My beginner's requests are:
1) A step-by-step guide to building a heavyweight component, that is
merely an string reverse POJO and assumes the user knows nothing about
JBI. So, new users can jump straight into SM with little JBI understanding
and then refer to JBI docs later. The guide also explains why you need the
certain zip files and where they go in certain directories, in very simple
laymen's terms.
2) Rather than having just one single instance of a component, making it
possible to have multi instances and then have them pooled.
3) Ability to import an ActivationSpec like you can import beans in
Spring. You cannot quite do the same thing with standard bean imports now,
as elements in the spec tag are specific to the tag.
4) Pre compiled .war file of SM so, web users can drop it straight into
their application server without having to do any building! Thus,
non-Maven users can get up and running quickly.
5) MOTM XFire binding support, with examples of how you can stream that
content onto the message exchange.
Are any of those already possible or even realistic?
