I have found it somewhat difficult to begin using servicemix in
comercial settings. There are a lot of companies that DO NOT
have internet connections nor do they readily accept Open
Surce software being brought into their domains. SO,
MY SUGGESTION would be to have perhaps TWO build environments.
ONE, as is, when connected to internet build is fine extracting
via internet Repositories. The OTHER variety, build TWO would
be a build that accepted a "OUT OF THE BOX" build that included
ALL of the dependances and had a snapshot of an "IN HOUSE"
repository that those customers/companies could begin to build
on with Open Source to support building servicemix, kinda like
What I think Apache Forrest is supposed to be... I suspect I
could create this myself and burn it to a CD and then solicit
the companies/customers to approve it into their domains.
My twiat would be that companies want the software unadultarated from
source to their nest. Thanks for hearing me.
