from my perspective, this alias is a wealth of great information. the
signal-to-noise
ratio is higher then virtually every other forum i subscribe to and to ignore
this info
be it for a new project (which is precisely how i used this alias and its
peers for the
last couple of years), product evaluation (open and simple standards is a
*good* thing)
or input to or comments on a published spec is silly. note: i'm not stating
the above
topics should be directly discussed on this alias (eg specific product
evaluations) but
the infomation shared here should and will be used in our (the servlet
community)
day-to-day activities as appropriate.

put another way, we're listening, we're digesting, we're offering ideas. it's
all good.

hope this helps,

- james
