You can reply with a confirmation page that refreshes within 10-15
seconds to the previous page. This may require javascript and a
setTimeout(), rather than the usuall META REFRESH.

Subject: servlet response
Hi
Is there any way of calling a servlet from an HTML form, but not
creating a
new page after the servlet has done what it has to do? I have a form
that
takes some info from the user and then i use a servlet to write to a
file,
but even if I don't put any reference to a response, after the form has
been submitted I get a "document contains no data" alert. What I want to
do
is for the user to remain in the form page after the servlet has written
the file, so he can use the form again if he wants to without having to
use
the back button.
thanks
Hector
