I guess this will only be supported by Netscape's browsers ... ? Is
there an equivalent MS technolgy available, too. In general: A well
working and rather browser-independent bidirectional communication
channel between Java and JavaScript (JScript) would be highly
appreciated, too. - This could help to encapsulate lower middleware
layers from the web server's communication layer to clients in a more
efficient way.

Somebody out there who is familiar with that topic?
