You have NOTHING to deal with the DB.
Your problem is not really servlet related :-)
You must first set up a System DSN with a name and call this DSN (not the
real database) in the driver call :
con = DriverManager.getConnection("jdbc:odbc:BIC", "","");
In this case my database as a System DSN called BIC and no passwrod, no
UserID with this items it would have been
con = DriverManager.getConnection("jdbc:odbc:BIC", "USERID","PASSWORD");
