Thanks to all who gave my previous post attention,

I got rid of the FileNotFoundException, not worth going into it now,
but all is not lost. I still have a problem in the code. If you look
at the script in the previous posting, after the oos.write() and
oos.close() there is a check for failure or success with
BufferedReader. This is now returning "FAILURE". The same code is on
Solaris and works. Could this be a Windows platform problem? Do any
of you have any insight into this.

Thanks for your help,
