Look at the RedirectServlet.java in the servlets directory.
This comes with JWS. There is a variable named location
that it parses out of the pathInfo. You can do a java string
operation on that string before calling sendRedirect.

I'd recommend experimenting with this to understand a simple
form of URL re-writing.
