Hi,
I'm just starting to build my first servlet, and
i'm worried about the work i will have to mantain the html thrown by that
servlet. I mean, after the servlet is compiled and sent to my clients, they (my
clients) will not have an easy way to change the appearance of the site, because
they would have to recompile the source code, changing the java source,
which sometimes may be not so easy.
I would like to have a way to work with template
files, which i could maintain with a simple text editor, writing just html and
special tags to give funcionalities like loops, ifs, etc, and then i would
call this template from my java code, interpreting it and send the contents to
the browser.
Could you please tell me the best way to
implement this? Is there any public code that implements this
funcionality?
Thanks in advance
Nelson Ponce
