Hi everybody, I am planning to develop a servlet based search engine for a web site. Can anybody give some useful hints about the same ? Do i store the words appearing in html pages along with the pages in which they appear in a database table and then query the table each time a request for search comes in ? or can i make use of the meta tag in html pages ?
