Galen,
The trick is that you have to put the jar file in the classpath of the
servlet engine and probably not just in the servlet directory. This is
pretty confusing and it can be a pain to figure out where jar file will
actually work in your servlet engine. I believe that a forthcoming servlet
spec will have a better answer to this problem.
