There is an IBM redbook that covers servlet security and WebSphere Application
Server security (chapters 4, 8, 9 and 10). Its title is "Internet Security in
the Network Computing Framework", order number SG24-5220. There is also a new
redbook called "Java 2 Network Security", order number SG24-2109-01, just
published on June 24th. From the Web page http://www.redbooks.ibm.com, make a
search for the order number. Then you can either download the PDF file of the
book FOR FREE or order hardcopies on-line. Notice that the software copy of the
book "Java 2 Network Security" contains only a reduced versions of chapter 13
and 16, because of the restrictions on encryption imposed by the US government.
However, the hardcopy (published by IBM and also by Prentice Hall PTR) contains
the full version of those chapters.

Subject: security
Hello,
I am trying to make a web site secure using Java & servlets. What book or
books would you recommend for this? Is O'Reilly's Java Security a good book
for this? Any suggestions?
thanks
Duke
