Hi Mark,

    Aside from saying that, within your budget, bigger is better, I wouldn't
comment on specific hardware.  What I will say is that any threading issues
will become more apparent on a multiprocessor machine capable, like NT, of
running threads on separate processors.  Without at all insulting you or
your staff, I expect you will see some apparently odd things pop up,
although this will lead to more robust applications in the end.  OTOH, that
should lead you to additional testing and QA for anything remotely
approaching 'mission critical.'  You might also check with the servlet
engine provider for any known issues and maybe even ask for multiprocessor
users ( specifically NT since that will be your implementation. )
