You need to properly structure the JavaMail MimeMessage to look something
like this

multipart/mixed - This is the outter container
  multipart/alternative
    text/plain - This is the plain text version of the message
    multipart/related
      text/html - This is the pretty version of the message
      image/jpeg - This is the background image
  application/octet-stream - This is any attachments that need to be sent
