I have a programmer that is creating Database Servlets in Oracle's
JDeveloper. (I guess this is basically a branded version of Borland's
JBuilder).
I am using Netscape Enterprise Server 3.5.1 on Solaris 2.5. I was having a
hard time getting the servlet to load so I was reading about alternatives.
JDeveloper suggests using SUN's JavaWebServer. I like this solution because
it is SUN, and I see no problems having my pages served in Netscape
interact with that web server so I would like to go that route but I have
also seen JRun metioned a lot.
Before spending any money I would like some input, can someone offer some
advice, is there an FAQ for this list?
Has anyone used JWS and can they give me a bit of insight.
I will summarize the answers back to the list.
Thanks,
Doug Wright
