If that doesn't work you can achieve it using the screen.height and
screen.width in a different way

In your calling window:

var newWindow = window.open(....
newWindow.resizeTo(x,y);
newWindow.moveTo(x,y);

I think you should try to do like this:

var page = "welcome.htm";
windowprops =
"height=screen.heigth,width=screen.width,location=no,"
+ "scrollbars=no,menubars=no,toolbars=no,resizable=no";
window.open(page, "Welcome", windowprops);


But this will work if you specify:
 <script language="JavaScript1.2">


and i think it will work only in IE4.x or higher
or Netscape 4.x .
