httpsession allows you to think of your web site as an application.
Cookies on the other hand "may" allow you to write small amounts of info at
the client. While you may be able to retain state information using
cookies, the question becomes: How do you know which session is which?
Will you only use IP addresses? How will you handle proxy servers?
The concept of the session allows a web site to become an application.
The cookie allows you to remember what may have happened.
Moises.
