i'll see what we can do with the zip request.

question to the list (respond to me unless you feel
your raising conerns you'd like to express your response
to the list and feel it is relevant):

        i wonder if it is viable to distribute all
        files in zip format (vs tar.Z, exe, etc)

do you see any problems in doing this? jswdk is really quite
platform independent already ... if we could just compress
and distribute the file in a platform independent manner that
would be a bit of a help, as i see it. what about mac, linux,
etc platforms?
