There is no ANSI SQL counterpart to the Microsoft Access memo
field. The only ANSI counterpart to a text field in Access
is the char or varchar, and the maximum size in Access is 255
char. It's an Access limitation, not a SQL problem. I've
fought the same problem elsewhere.
