hi, everyone,
i would like an applet to share some of the jdbc processing with a servlet.
does anyone know the getConnection() syntax to connect to a remote access
database from an applet? is it
getConnection("jdbc:odbc://IPADDRESS/dbname")? do i need the port number?
finally, are the ODBC data sources that i set for servlets sufficient for
applets, or do i need to modify anything else?
