Hello all, I have succesfully accessed web-pages on the intranet using a servlet and the HttpURLConnection class. But I don't know how to access external web-sites on the internet as they are separeted by a proxy and firewall. All I want to do is to read a web-page and place it into a string buffer (it actually does this but does not work for internet web-pages). The servlet is running on a linux box running apache jserv (an intranet server). Any help would be greatly appreciated.
