Hi all,
I am a newcomer to the servlet world. I downloaded the servlet examples from
the JavaSoft tutorial site and tried to execute them. I configured the server that
came along with the kit to run on port 6080. I was able to execute all the examples
successfully except those that used 'form action POST method' to invoke a servlet.
These servlets failed on submit giving an error like
'http://localhost:6080/examples/servlet/RequestParamExample not found. Server
connection reset'. Iam running JDK1.2 and IE3.02.
Please let me know if I am using the right versions. Is there any browser property
that I need to set to get this to work?
